The retirement plan service industry is ever-changing, and with such rapid growth and change comes the need for forums and conferences that bring industry leaders together to address ideas, build connections, and discuss industry trends. The ASPPA Women Business Leadership Forum (WBLF) is an example of such a gathering. Held in New Orleans this year, the forum was focused on a mix of HR issues, business development, leadership, and ethics. Leading Retirement Solutions President Kirsten Curry attended the three-day conference, which was held at the Ritz Carlton in the city’s famous French Quarter.
The forum featured presentations from nationally recognized presenters as well as workshops where attendees could break into small groups and share stories about their experiences as leaders of their firms. It also included a variety of businesses ranging from large regional TPA firms to small local firms, and everything in between. Session topics included updates from Washington, D.C., best practices for Human Resources, ethics for business owners, and techniques for growing and igniting businesses.
As a certified women-owned business, Leading Retirement Solutions is proud to have been a part of this year’s WBLF event and we look forward to the next forum coming up.
